YES Chemda, even Picard and Data violate the prime directive. You know how damaging oppressive (especially religious) dogma can be! Extend an exit route to your cousins; controling someones' freedom to go out of the house, drive, and be independent is predatory abusive behaviour. Even if they never end up leaning on you for help, it might give them strength to know that they can get out if it does get bad, and validating to know that you know what they are expierencing isn't their fault.
And oh man oh man do I yell at strangers. Only when I'm right, tho...
