I'm working under the assumption that both the hypothesis and the null will undergo huge modifications during the planning stage. Due to them being quite broad. It would probably end up being one of those huge papers with decades worth of experimentation.

Not being able to observe something isn't indication it doesn't exist.

It's just indication that we aren't able to observe it.

Before the microscope we couldn't observe cells. They still existed.
