The reason that Christi is just as bad as every Catholic and every Christian out there is because if you "just" believe in Jesus, then you "just" believe that God's way of dealing with humanity (his creation) exercising free will (something he gave us) by not doing the right things (his rules) was to send his son to us and let him be murdered (his consequences) so that we could avoid going to hell (his creation).
If someone can believe "just" that and not be FRIGHTENED into considering every other word in the same storybook (writted by him) as being completely literal, then that person is lying about either their belief or about what they don't believe.
