I'm with Chemda that the brains of murderers like Manson should be studied to better understand the physiology behind heinous acts.

Charles Whitman for example, the Texas clock tower shooter, apparently said in his suicide note he loved his wife and mother and didn't understand his own impulse to kill them, or anyone else. He asked that his brain be studied after his death and it was found he had a brain tumour impinging on a part of his brain that is supposed to regulate those kinds of emotions/decisions.

The more we understand the brain function of these wackadoos the more chance we have of me being killed by lightning or a shark than another human being, and I'm sure we all agree that can only be a good thing.
