I'm a lot more honest to my friends whenever I'm feeling bummed out about a recent breakup and I find it's so much easier to live life. I tell them I'm looking forward to that soccer game or dinner or a comedy show or anything to keep my mind off of what happened. And it makes your friends understand you more and gives them the opportunity to support you a little. It feels like the healing process is taking forever. But I know how important it is to take the time to process and heal. Don't rush anything.
