Reform-minded Catholics sometimes say the Church needs to let priests marry, as if that's going to solve their child rape problem. It's not the inability to marry/vow of chastity. The Church just attracts pedophiles.
Put yourself in the shoes of one of these pedos. If you're caught abusing children, your boss will fire you. Quite understandably, they don't want to be associated with you. Having your name next to the company logo is very bad for business and they want you the fuck out. To be a kid fucker means to be always worried that you'll be discovered, jailed, ostracized from society, etc.
But imagine that there's a company that not only doesn't mind if you fuck kids, but will cover up the crime for you and move you to a new city so you can continue to do so. The Catholic Church is the perfect place for a pedophile to keep not just a steady job, but access to more victims while maintaining a position of some power.
Interpol needs to be tearing through that organization.
