I enjoyed Crazy Rich Asians in that I was going through a severe depressive period and needed something dumb to watch. I agree with all of Chemda’s observations about it; there were many terrible things about it.
The Catholic Church-fucking hell they will never learn. Former catholic here, I was out once I heard about all of these allegations and the evidence of them moving these priests instead of turning them into the police. I don’t fathom how the rape of children is less important than whatever image they were trying to protect because it is all fucked to hell. It is sickening that we’ve know that this has been happening for decades and still there hasn’t been crack downs. They should lose their tax-exemption status minimum.
