After having roommates for 10 years I moved into my own pad earlier this year... I'm also truly single for the first time in years...
A friend of mine was visiting this weekend and as she was walking through the apt she says "I bet you just love living alone don't cha" as she saw how neat & clean everything is & how the apartment is decorated to my style.
I told her no joke I worry about dating again & melding my life with somebody // the compromises... the combining of bills... cleaning up after somebody....
I also told her I finally understand why my grandparents had separate rooms in their house with a hangout room in the middle where they would have their together time!
