My husband gave himself two tattoos. He has a cross on his ring finger that he did at 16. And he did some Tupac thing on his arm at 17 but didn't use the right ink so it's just a bunch of scars that don't look like anything anymore. The cross still looks quite lovely....barely faded and still holding its shape. If you get the right ink and do a good job, it'll last. He's 41 now. And an atheist with a cross on his fucking ring finger, lol.
