i kept a bunch of stuff from my first marriage, notably our war letters. i figure that’s something as a citizen i should hold for posterity. the only object that ever gave me pause were my wedding pearls. they’re dope. i still feel weird wearing them when i’m with Bear. which is dumb bc neither of them is sentimental.

i LOVE holidays! my Valentine’s was thrown by a touch of emergency surgery this year, but we demonstrated some kick ass ‘in sickness and in health’ing. which i think Bear preferred bc he is terrible at gifts and this time of year makes him incredibly anxious.
