i expected to feel a maternal call and it has yet to come. if it hasn’t shown up by now, and i’m turning 34 in a couple weeks, i figure it just ain’t comin’. plus, i barely know how to hold a baby, much less keep one alive. i’ve not been around many and most of my close friends don’t have them. sounds like a lot of work and a steep learning curve. no thanks.
