Yeah, I used to order meat well done, but I also used to think I hated steaks when it turns out I only ever had really terrible steaks. They aren't supposed to be tough and bouncy like a hockey puck. Who knew?

Edit: You probably aren't going to change a "well done" person's mind just by giving them hell about it. My husband was a genius by first making me some fucking amazing, tender grilled steak for tacos and that convinced me to try more and now I'm a full on medium rare girl.
