Keith was correct in the burger debate, assuming you care about your partner.

Three years ago my wife had stomach issues which limited what she could eat for many months. The meals we shared consisted of small portions of bland stuff like rice, chicken, grits, oatmeal, whatever. Was it what I wanted to eat? Of course not. But it also wasn't what she wanted to be eating. Share the fun, share the tough times.

She told me several times to fix what I wanted, it was okay. But come on, I'm human, I couldn't sit there and eat a steak or burger in front of her knowing she can't share with me.

If you want a burger, have a burger when your partner isn't around.
