My husband and I have been married for 10 years and he still thanks me after sex. Even though I’m the one to initiate most of the time and have told him he doesn’t have to. It still feels good in a way. We try to thank each other for keeping up on household stuff whenever we have foster kid placements because it can easily get out of control quick. Acknowledging the small things really helps in the long run.
