last time i was on a plane I guess the two women who I was supposed to sit next to on our 5 hour flight found our or asked if the children they saw getting on were going to be sitting next to us. there was a family with 2 kids and turns out they were in the seats directly in front of ours. The women decided to get their seats moved and ended one row back and to the left, all three of them were very heavy and looked very uncomfortable but happy to be away from the kids.
I had the whole row row to my self, and stretched out and laid down. I made some funny faces at the younger of the kids whenever he got noisy and he would stop and laugh and make faces back.
win-win for me
