I think Keith’s dad is devastated Bc he needs notCat to be realCat and we are witnessing his brain processing this realization. And I also agree with Keith’s expectation that there won’t be “closure” but rather a discouragement to future emailing / interference with Kyle’s kids. Considering how malicious Keith’s dad is it seems this is the only way to handle this. Well done, Keith! Also I love Chemda so much, the check in with a , “how are you doing buddy?” are super important. Keith is figuratively an orphan with socially inflicted son obligations to two people who are not able to be parents. His mom in mental decline and his dad just completely inept to be a dad.
Love you guys and thank you for sharing this stuff - as wild as it is I also think it is relatable to almost everyone on some level.
