Does anyone else think it's weird and a lot of pressure for a parent to say they want you to get married before they die? Surely that makes you rush into things that you might not be into or ready for? He even said that if he knew his mum didn't have as long he'd be more serious about finding a relationship. But if that's what he wanted, he would've been doing that already. Instead he'd be forcing something and could end up marrying someone just to make his mum happy.
