I understood the poll question. For a split second I wondered if it was meant to be a trick but I think it's pretty clear what "age ain't nothing but a number" means.

I wonder if the people who voted "true" weren't reading it as an all-or-nothing type thing. My boyfriend is 8-9 years older than me but I'm 30 and he's 38. The age gap doesn't seem big until we talk about movies we grew up with and that kind of thing, but in our day to day lives it's not an issue. So I don't think a large gap in age is inherently bad, but "age ain't nothing but a number" is false because that's implying a 50 year old can date an 18 year old no problem.

For the record, I voted false.. just wondering how anyone could vote "true".
