I don't know how many times I've been asked "where is this story going?" or "When are you getting to the point?"

I started going to therapy after my mother died I went once a week for months 3 or 4 then the psychologist said 'you've been coming here for a while now and although you first said you came to talk about your mom you haven't mentioned her once. Do you want to talk about your mother?' I did, felt better and was good and never went back.
