I love an artsy fartsy movie where nothing happens as much as anyone, but there’s no way I’ll enjoy nomadland as much as Keith’s review of it.
Award shows are dumb, like you said each year everyone just magically decides that one movie is like pure art and its completely arbitrary. I started tuning out when birdman won best picture and I got 20 minutes into it and realized no one knows anything and it’s all hype.
Borat was probably the best 2020 movie I saw, but also nothing else came out so the award shows are grasping at straws this year.
