You're fucked. You can't make friends with a cat. I had my cat before my boyfriend. We've been together 6 years and lived together for 4. The cat only likes me. They're finicky bitches.
Try with Benny and hope the cat dies soon.
Edit to add: I never had to drain leaky anal cysts off my cat. I'd rather she not be nice to my boyfriend.
