			I have the same OCD tentacles as Hannah but I'm not doing the things the ocd tells me to. 
My brain tells me to do them  when I'm stressed but I came so far ( read books about ocd and am in therapy) that I can say to those thoughts:  
 
"Absolutely not, nice try ocd" and I can remember the past times I refused and nothing bad happened. So I know the ocd is lying to me.
