Yesterday there was a mass shooting in my hometown, Smithsburg MD. Three people were killed and two more were injured, including a police officer.
Just now, people at my job are all talking about how gun control isn’t the answer. All the usual stuff, “if you take away guns, only criminals will have them” and “driving kills more people, should we take away cars?”
I know it didn’t happen at a school, and I live 15 minutes away from smithsburg now, but that’s the school system my kids go to. I really don’t want to hear any pro gun sentiments right now while working.
