Why antibiotics not over the counter:

We don’t want even more antibiotics resistance.
When we use them too often, especially not to the end of the package ( it’s the same amount because of the same bacteria, like imagine to kill a Mountain Lion you need a gun no matter if you are a smaller person or a Keith ) the bacteria have more opportunity for evolution, meaning getting better in not being killed by antibiotics.
We as humans loose antibiotics and create super bugs this way.

And antibiotics taken for a virus are useless. ( they only work for bacteria) A person who is sick can’t tell most times if it’s from a virus or bacteria. Many people would still take antibiotics.
This way you only kill the good bacteria in your gut have 0 Effekt on the disease.
Killing the good gut bacteria= bad, creates other problems. ( wet shits, Vitamine loss…)
