I'm serious anyone worth being let into your apartment will already have your number to let you know they're there. The delivery apps have a way to contact you thru your phone. Do the sensible thing and break it.
Or.. pull the cover off the unit in the wall and disconnect the wires. It has to be serviceable from inside incase it ever goes bad, once you figure it out you can disconnect them during show time and then reconnect after
