Being a farm-wife sounds fun in theory. I think I just wanna cosplay or take a vacation as role playing on a farmstead.
Get the eggs from the chicken coop... throw down some feed.... pet a goat... make some bread... put stuff in jars... I've seen Pioneer Woman on the cooking channel, how hard can it be? Yeehaw mothafuckas!
The reality though? Not as cute. I just see little snippets of the reality I'd want, and not the actuality of that life. That farmers don't make money, animal shit stinks, and this is a full time LIFE and not just a fun little whim.
