looks like the brits are starting to raise their eyebrows

Title of the article is "Are we safe from robots that can think for themselves?"

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/pages/liv...n_page_id=1965

the last sentence is far from comforting:

"The Korean government is looking to create robotic armed border guards as part of a £51million investment in robotics."

As long as these robots stay at the border, we should be fine. It's just the consequences of the reasearch needed to get those border guards that scares me.

A well placed EMP (Electro Magnetic Pulse) should be able to handle those border guards. Those fools.

We'll never be able to get within 10 miles of the border if that happens. it'll be harder than trying to fly into machine city.

The BBC has this video report on it...

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/help/3681938.stm

It caught my interest because of this text on my email provider's site....specifically the mention of "assassin robots"....I thought it was a misprint of "assisstant"....but no....it's robot assassins....
