cbs13.com - Unkind rewind: Escalator runs in reverse, 8 hurt

An escalator at Universal Studios decided to switch direction and injured 8 people who were on the stairs at the time.

Mechanical malfunction?
Or the uncontrolable and unpredictable evolutionary process of technology?
