Robot Identifies Human Flesh as Bacon

Robot Identifies Human Flesh As Bacon Let the robot holocaust commence: robots think we taste like bacon. Researchers at NEC System technologies and Mie University have designed the cute little guy to the right: a metal man gastronomist, “an electromechanical sommelier”, capable of identifying wines, cheeses, meats and hors d’oeuvres. Upon being given a sample, he will speak up in a childlike voice and identify what he has just been fed. The idea is that wineries can tell if a wine is authentic without even opening the bottle, amongst other more obscure uses…like “tell me what this strange grayish lump at the back of my freezer is/was.” But when some smart aleck reporter placed his hand in the robot’s omnivorous clanking jaw, he was identified as bacon. A cameraman then tried and was identified as prosciutto. Absolutely horrifying. Like cows, once robots taste blood, their hunger for human flesh can never be satiated. It may seem like a little cute idea now, but 100 years from now we will be regretting this as a cyborg robot dog is tearing the flesh off of us. HUAR!!!

Im down with anything that has to do with bacon
|
We should see this as an advantage, the robots don't have our scent, we can use animals as decoys attracting their attack forces since our DNA is so similar. and cloning them is far easier. we must use this advantage. HUAR

The article doesn't give the physical attributes of the individual identified as bacon.
|
It doesn't necessarily matter what the attributes were, yet. as long as they don't fix the problem in the robots. Humans and many animals are incredibly similar both in makeup and DNA. although we could reverse it, trying to disguise ourselves as animals, or use the animals, maybe even teach them to use screwdrivers and disconnect power cords. I'm thinking rats tearing wires inside giant (japanese) robots to shut em down. HUAR

Well, human flesh is referred to as the long pig in culinary terms. Maybe people do taste like bacon.
|
I've also heard chicken. But let's look at the larger picture here. ROBOTS THAT ENJOY TASTE. ROBOTS THAT ENJOY. Not only do we have to contend with their calculated and soulless extermination of our race, but now these things are going to enjoy eating and torturing us.

This is such an amazing story. Its incredible how far technology has taken us.nonetheless, this makes me wonder how great will these technology advancements be in ten years from now?
