Robotic Arms powered by Brain
Short version:
A Tenn. man lost both of his arms and now uses robotic arms which are controlled by his own brain waves. He thinks it, and they do stuff. Just like real arms. http://www.cnn.com/2006/US/03/22/bts...nic/index.html |

Cool idea. I hope that guy gets an upgrade soon. It's still kind of a dumb system. by dumb i mean rudimentary, not unintelligent. It's not really his mind that controls the new arms. That'd be like saying that you drive your car with your mind. It'd be nice if all he had to do was wear the arms and have a little hat or an implant that lets him control the arms without the extra nerves-to-pecs-manboob-flexing step. That guy needs a helpermonkey! |
