Engineering robot swarms

European engineers working to create tiny robots that can join together to perform tasks.

if they learn to give cpr they can also learn to sever a major artery. those robots can replicate and repair themselves right? whats to stop them replicating in your blood stream? (once they get smaller)

The first thing that came to mind when I saw the clip, was robots working together to defeat the human race. No emotion, "blind" agreement between robots to conquer... us.

1) When has a "swarm" of anything been a good thing?

2) The clip they showed that "gave them the idea" had a human shooting the robots because they were going to attack him!

3) When asked "is there any risk the robots will take over" he gave an evil smirk just laughed it off

4) At the end the reporter says "maybe those fears are misplaced, because it has yet to master the table top"... What happens when they master the flamethrower, machine gun & rocket launcher!

It's just a matter of time, because of dick scientist like this
