This is where real T-1000 Terminators will come from.
 

They will stabilize these individual drones that interlock with each other in a matter of months. Then they will start to miniaturize them. Someone will add some type of coloring ability and that will be it. You will have an intelligent computer that can transform its shape by moving its interlocking parts around and that can mimic colors. They will be smarter than humans, can take any shape, and can fly or become effectively invisible (spreading up against a wall or floor, or float up in the air and become the same color as the sky). All they will need is a factory to reproduce.

Looks like it will be the Swiss that we have to thank for the downfall of man.
