mcnally i think you are right in this situation and overall I think you are a really good guy.
the insight (i think) comes when you get older because when I was a younger girl dating my now spouse and the men before him, I needed all sorts of validation. girls are mostly fucked up -- daddy complex's maybe or maybe something else -- i guess i can only speak for myself. but of course this a forum on the interwebs and you can be the only judge of you relationship. i wish you much luck and hope things work out.

Everyone takes your side for once, but I'm the raving cunt, 'cause we know each other.
Ayn is annoying sometimes and if she wasn't you wouldn't have put an expiration date on your relationship! And since when did guys hit each other? I thought grown-ups were fake nice. WAH! |

I felt hurt that your original comment was so callous, and I'm sorry I brought it up. I do think you're acting socially inappropriately, and I don't understand why you're doing what you're doing. But I do apologize. It's just the internet, I shouldn't take it personally.

I don't see how this is inappropriate? You had an argument on the internet in a room full of people? I guess it's only rude, when it makes you feel bad? I just made a comment, I wasn't trying to do anything? I figured you would find it funny or be insulted. And I bet if you were still mad at her today it would have been the former. But then you made it a "thing," and it isn't in me to take back what I say, THAT feels childish. I genuinely don't like to pretend to like your girlfriend, it makes me feel fake, and I can see in her face that she can see it in my face. Whether you recognize it or not. And if you try to make me feel bad about having an opinion, then I'll try to make you feel bad about that. |

May I just say that although it's not wrong for McNally to feel defensive about his girlfriend being "attacked", he should expect this since he contributed in it becoming public.
Whenever I fought with my sister when we were little, my mom would say "Don't call each other names in public! It will make it ok for strangers to call you names!" And it's true. Albeit, spE is not a stranger to McNally, but she is just being honest. Anyone who knows spE should know that she's brutally honest, so either deal with it, or don't be friends with her... Being fake-nice to each other is what you do in high school to get cheap weed or rides from friends with cars, it's not what adults do. As an adult you can choose to be friends with those you like. So if you don't like tatoE anymore, McNally, then stop being friends with her. If you don't want to have other people attack your girlfriend, then don't attack her yourself in front of other people. Whatever. Y'all are sillygeese McGees. </3 |
