Goddamn i am fucking jealous. 15 minutes away from the party and i can't fucking go.

(And last year i had to leave right after keith's set!)

Holy shit. how the fuck do you take such great pics in that light? What camera? Glass? It looks like studio detail from the regular stage lighting. Well done.

I used a magic camera made with unicorn tears.

Also known as Canon 50D and a canon 70-200mm f/2.8

It's fast glass and the camera has good low light performance. I used spot metering to deal with the light being so wonky and I shot wide open at 2.8 and iso 1600. I was getting shutter speeds between 1/20 and 1/125.

Last night was so much fun, it was crazy seeing all these people I listen to! Maybe next year I'll actually talk a bit more, and try to sneak into the afterparty ^_^
