Wondering how many fans are in the Calgary area.

I'm in the Red Deer area. if we could get a few people together I'd love to have some kind of KATG meetup.

We could always try the whole "if you organize it, they will come" route and set something up. If it was all set up and on the KATG.com/events we might get a better turn out than trying to get people from this thread alone. what do you guys figure? Where/what should we do?

i was thinking of just sending out messages out to the members who have listed their location, then hopefully they know some people irl who listen but are not active on the forums

I'm in! should we go to a Drinkin-BAHH, stampede beer gardens, or one of the variety of we3stern theme bars to celebrate our hick-i-tage? Also, I appologize in advance to Myq Kaplan for butchering his style. Which is ironic since he's vegan. Anyways, what do you guys figure?

I say Palomino. It's my favorite "western" bar 'cause it's got amazing food, decent prices, and live music all the time. And it's not just country music, either, they book tons of cool bands there.

Sounds like a plan to me! I've never been to that particular place but sounds like a solid choice.

Hey guys, don't frequent the forums but I'm also in Calgary. A meetup at the Palomino would be cool, I'll be sure to check up on this thread for if anything gets planned.

I would be down for the Palomino, I am leaving on the 12th for Singapore for three weeks:) and am back on June 3rd.

Not sure if anyone has checked Jesse Joyce's website recently, but he has a few Calgary dates. September 13 to the 18 at the Comedy Cave. Who's interested?

I think this would be great place to meet up, and enjoy a KATG regular. I can go any day of the week tickets are $10 and can be purchased in advance, there is also a 2 drink minimum or a charge of $7.50.
