About pregnancy tests.

An expensive Test might be so sensitive that it detects a chemical pregnancy, meaning in an early phase, when it wasn’t a real pregnancy yet. It was beginning to develop, but didn’t really go.

So it was right, but in the end a false positive.
It just detected a change in hormones.
That’s what a pregnancy does. It checkers for HCG, the human pregnancy hormone.

I loved this episode. It felt like an ep of Mental Illness Happy Hour.

Randomly listening to this episode. So good. Chemda is such a good interviewer. When she brought up that abusers target empathic people who are considerate of others... that was such a great point. Explains so much.
