I think that all the female comedians that KATG has had on their show are hilarious, so women are funny... but maybe that's just because Keith and Chemda are good at choosing guests.
... someone mentioned that all women talk about are shitting and periods. I don't think that's true, and to flip it male comedians talk largely complain about women, and joke about sex! So ... what's the difference? Side note, I had someone say to me the other day: "You're pretty funny ... for a girl ... you must have older brothers." .... hmmm, thanks? |

Coming at it from a different perspective, I agree with Carmen.
As a gay man, I don't want to see an "all gay" show–*of anything. Shows featuring a particular group of people tend to be 1-2 hours of the same recycled theme. It gets boring. |

sexual selection
i've wondered this:
men tend to be taller and larger than women, in general, by about 10% - this comes from millions of years of sexual selection - that being that women would choose a larger man to procreate with because that larger man could protect her and her offspring more effectively from some dangers and therefore pass on their genes more often ... I've wondered if, in general, men's brains a wired in a way that make them more witty and quick - which may also be favored by sexual selection I know there are witty women and large women, but I'm saying just in general ... I wonder if this idea has any merit? maybe, maybe not - but I'm am curious...

Could be. Sucks that we'll probably never know because there's no way of really testing or proving that. |

I think that the ability to make people laugh is part something you were born with but ALSO part like a muscle (the more you use it the stronger it will get), so if someone is born into a world like ours where boys are more encouraged to be funny, its totally possible that men can be funnier than women.
I don't know why people bash that idea so easily |
