Is it totally weird that I don't believe in astrology but think it would be fun to have my chart done anyway? Does anybody else feel this way?

At the start of the episode I thought it would be really fun to have my chart read, but as the whole thing dragged on, I just found it to be really annoying. While some of the things that Jordan said were very specific to Chemda, I feel as though most of them could describe anyone, and that many described myself, and I'm a Gemini. Now, having listened to the whole thing, I do know that there could be any number of things in my chart that could tell me where I've gone astray, but I think that Carl Sagan put it best:

"How could the rising of Mars at the moment of my birth affect me, then or now? I was born in a closed room - light from Mars couldn't get in. The only influence of Mars that could affect me is its gravity, but the gravitational influence of the obstetrician is much more massive than that of Mars."

This is the only What's My Name episode that I didn't like and I hope that this is not the new standard. Once again, I do like that we got to see more of Chemda herself, but not of the Astrology medium.

It's a bit of fun, and who fucking knows if the spirit world really exists....?

I loved this show! I don't think any of us felt that Chemda was being self indulgent with it! I listen to all of the KATG shows because I love you guys and enjoy hearing not only your guests but also you guys! Its ok to focus on yourself sometimes and as listeners its fascinating to hear insight about how you see yourself and how others see you. Whether it be through Astrology or not. Great show:p

I fully agree. Like I said, I don't think I would have even listened to the whole thing if I wasn't interested in hearing more about Chemda and Lauren. I actually want to see more Chemda-centric WMN shows in the future.

It is the new standard actually. Every show is going to be Chemda getting her chart read.

At least it was going to be. We need to reevaluate now.

Thanks for taking my feedback into account, although I actually wouldn't mind hearing Lauren's chart read on the show as well, just to bring it full circle.

Fascinating episode. Definitely want to get my chart read. I did not find this episode self-indulgent at all, especially since there were a few times she did steer the topic off of herself and Lauren had to bring the reigns back in.

It was crazy to hear how many of the things he said rang true. My birthday is 12/11 the same year.
