Brother Love,
My boyfriend keeps flaking out on me for his job. I know that the opportunities that come up for him are important for moving forward in his career but what happens if I can never rely on him to be around for our life together.
I think that it's important to leave time in your schedule for your relationship. It may seem silly to put importance on going to a dinner with friends but what is a relationship if it's not the connection that develops by being included in each others lives?
The point is that I can't rely on him and I don't see an end in sight. It seems petty but it accumulates to me feeling like I'm in the relationship alone.
I'd love to hear your advice.
To give you a picture of where we are in our relationship: we have been dating for about two and a half years and have been living with each other for a little over a year.

Brolo,
What do I do if I don't like talking about a subject that my husband wants to talk about pretty often.
He likes football a lot. He tells me about stats, injuries, scores, etc.
I don't care about any of it.
At first, I thought that it was nice that he was including me on a hobby/passion of his but during football season, it gets heightened and, to be honest, very monotonous.
I hate to be mean about something that he likes so much. I would love a way to approach this that doesn't hurt his feelings but ends the cycle of me hearing about something that goes in one ear and out the other.
