"You remembered!!!"
I get pretty shitty about gift giving with my sig other. I want something nice or super thoughtful. Last year my hubby got me two bath bombs... I got him a 3-month subscription of a coffee of the month + a funny mug and a vinyl record of a new release from the band he likes. Come Valentine's day he got IOU Coupons and DONUTS, one card read-- "I Donut know what I'd do without you".. I'd spent a fuck ton on xmas gifts for him and needed something low-budget.. he has yet to use any of the coupons, they're more like funny drawings I made. I do most of the chores and suck the dick all the time anyways so fuckit.

Music
Something that I've done, and now my kids do with me, is to write and record songs for people as gifts. We've not done it for everybody on Christmas but have done it for birthdays, Mothers Day, anniversary's, etc...
The songs aren't amazing but they hit your intended target in the feels and clearly shows you put more thought into it than a gift card or something. |
