45: Katharine Heller's First Time
 

Whether it’s starring in commercials, acting in voiceover work, entertaining an audience through improv, written sketches, or songs, Katharine Heller is as well-rounded an artist as they come. But she’s on this show now, so you know you’re about to hear about her insane beginnings. This time The Beginnings include an artistically jealous and competitive father and, unrelated, unknowingly eating male ejaculation on stage. Enjoy. Not the ejaculation. I mean this episode.

Holy fuck. This is the absolute best episode. Accidentally got snowballed?!!

It’s really hard to top the insanity that is - Keith’s dad. But then Katherine Heller appears and presents option B - her father. I mean, this guy really hates kids. He hated them so much, he had more just so he could say so - in front of the other kids! (I loved that part)

People need to hear this ep. Then there needs to be a poll. Whose father is worse - Keith’s or Katherine’s?

I’ve heard some terrible childhood stories and have a few of my own but damn. Katharine’s dad sounds like he’s Keith’s long lost uncle. The good thing is out of those monsters came some really cool, funny and nice people.

I've listened to Katharine for years and was still blown away by some of these stories. Amazing episode, she's in my top 5 KATG guests for sure. And everyone go listen to her show The Struggle Bus too!

Katherine was so dang good in the KATG standup contest I had completely forgotten she's not even a comic.

Katharine is the greatest.

HOLY FUCKING SHIT ABOUT THE THEATER STORY. THAT GUY IS SO SICK.

After puking from that story, overall I enjoyed this episode. I always love hearing Katherine.
