I LIKE AL SHARPTON

I like Al Sharpton. He serves a purpose. Al Sharpton has a big mouth and brings attention to issues which otherwise would be ignored and swept under the rug. Examples include the recent Sean Bell incidents, and the Amadou Diallo incident.

Al Sharpton is not the de facto black leader. There is not a de facto black leader in America. Is there a de facto white leader or latin american leader or jewish leader. I am not aware of any but I could be wrong.

I don't always agree with his tactics or what he says. However he has stood his ground on multiple occasions and garnered attention for those who would otherwise be ignored.

Vote Big Al and his perm.

Once, i've read on a magazine like GQ or something like that, that spicy food changes the taste. But i kept asking myself if that was actually tested in reality (and if they did, i want to knw how), or if it is some sort of scientific hypothesis, or something like the Kinsey essay, where they interviewed people.

Somewhere on the internet, some guy is tasting is own cum repeatedly for science, and he's not even getting paid. Sad.

I do not like being excluded from the poll. Damn sexists. I am burning my bra, as we speak, all while tasting myself.

i worked for a phone-sex company for a short time. i didn't do any of the actual sex talk, i just worked in the office as an order taker. i was the person who asked the guys who/what they wanted, and then relayed that info back to the girl.
i had to stop working there because i was getting so disgusted with men. it was scary how often i would get calls from teachers/coaches wanting our girls to pretend they were specific students they knew. i'm all for the "school-girl" thing, but when you're asking for little jenny from 4th period gym class, that's a little more than i'd like to deal with.

I don't like how he picks and chooses what issues he thinks need to be addressed, however. He was all over the "nappy headed 'ho" comment while he completely ignored the Jena Six until almost a year later when the mainstream media were FINALLY reporting on the story. If the story isn't going to let him grandstand, then he doesn't seem to care. So I really don't care for how much of his actions seem to be self-serving rather than justice-based.

We could start a different poll for you. Let me know when the bra smolders out.

Half burned bras are about to become the new punk chic, I'm guessing.

Trend setter.

It's not that Al Sharpton brings attention to issues. He shows up when he knows cameras are already going to be there. He makes a big stink, then leaves when the cameras leave. Jesse Jackson is the same way. He makes a point of showing up for moments involving black people, and that's as far as it goes. He doesn't show up for white people, or hispanics, or anyone else. Al Sharpton's motives are not in any way selfless. He is very selfish and politically motivated. He doesn't do things unless he knows people will be around with cameras to put him on the news.

somebody has to be the asshole. I remember being at the first million man march in D.C. Everybody in the crowd was just waiting for him to finish... "Come on Al... let's get it over with. On with the next speaker." Yes he does grandstand.. maybe because he spent so much time around James Brown. Maybe because he is a bit of a NYC hustler. He creates a stir, and gets people talking. Right or wrong but at least they're talking about the issue
