If he's going to be show, it could be potentially awesome. His first album was the soundtrack of 90% of the parties i was at. Simple and effective.

I do hope this ad is not the first sign of katg going pro, and selling out to the man. I'm such a fan of course I wouldn't let ads bother me, I'd just fast forward through them. However if I was tuning in for the first time I think hearing ads on this pod cast would have me hesitating hitting the subscribe button, if at all. I feel I have to speak up about this cause I love the show soooo much.

-They do the ad because the show is free and somehow they need the money to keep it going
-They've been having sponsor for a lot, it isnt a sign of anything

It's a free show? I think if we had to pay for subscription and there were ads you may have a better case to complain, but really what do you expect? This is how they make their living - I don't think donations and the store alone would suffice. Also us internationals are pretty lucky; apparently if you are from the US there are a lot more ads normally. Us international folk get lucky and only have them once in a while.

P.S. It's nice to have another irish among us. We're slowly gaining some numbers around these parts

The first sign? They've been doing ads for awhile. I like when they change them up a little bit. I was mostly amused that this first Starz ad is selling a dopey children's movie. But I don't give a shit about the ads. We get the show for free and they do it every day.

yeah it took me a second to figure out that it is an ad - I was only half paying attention and thought it was another news clip at first.

But as Cat said us internationals are lucky - I think this is the first one for a while, last one I recall was the Euro-Casino/lottery/something?
