Funny--when I was listening to this on my iPod I was running on fumes, running around to help my mom get the house ready for my dad returning home from Arkansas, on perhaps just a little more sleep then Keith, and when I was waiting on a line to get some stuff at Wal-Mart, I hear Keith saying he wanted a red popsicle, and that it helped him. I thought--well fuck it, I'm at the store. It actually did--if only to cool off since Arizona seemed to be wedged in Satan's taint today. Truly, you're a man of ingenius ideas, Keith.

I think it's just like the example Chemda mentioned about the indian history in America. You can talk about it but you have to be careful about what you say.

Is that the right thing to do?
I don't know, I guess Germany might be a bit oversensitive but I also think that this will change in the future (I know that I don't feel the need to cencor myself because of what happened back then; the generations that have a problem talking about it (out of shame? out of guilt?) will soon be gone).
Yeah, I was pretty sure Germany doesn't completely ignore the fuck-ups and the fucked-up that the Nazis did, but I seem to remember reading that it's illegal to sell anything with a swatzika and/or Hitler in it. Did I get that right?

Lauren, here's your new job! I'm sure you can do it better than this:

bring someone with some music, it really kills the mood to do it to that lovely subway noise.

You know, i tried it and didnt notice much difference. Maybe i didnt do it correctly. Or it'one of those "to each one its own things". I like fingering my ass and pinching my nipples, even badly (yeah yeah, i'm a freak).

ADD: I can only say that i like Jeremy, a lot. He basically was my first friendly encounter in the KATG community and i hope i'll meet him in the november metup. And if he needs any help i'm here.
Plus: Elvis, you're the man, and i love you too but the whole "if you bring the party down..." thing maybe was a bit too much.

And after Hot Space, while never giving up that synthsound completely, definitely returned to being a rock band. "Radio Ga Ga" notwithstanding.
Agreed, Hot Space is the most boring one. "Innuendo" is the real gem of the late Queen production.

I didnt even listen to "Made in Heaven". I remember being so disgusted when it came out, that i litterally hated the band for a while. It was such alow move, to me.

Brian May is a great guitarist, a good songwriter and a decent singer (his solo album is very good) but he's a fucking scumbag, the re-union album proves it even more

Nothing is said that you should be worried about.

And once they started they went really crazy on them. Still, the Flash Gordon soundtrack is awesome and pretty much entirely synthesized.
The last sentence there proves the point that synths don't equal bad music.
The Who used synths on their greatest tracks.

The early 80s had great music. Tom Petty, Mike Jackson, a lot of good funk and R and B, New Wave music, like Devo. And if it wasn't for Queen's "disco" music like "Another One Bites the Dust" and "Body Language" and of course the Flash Gordon soundtrack, I would've never heard of them as a child.

"proof's in the pudding. by pudding i mean asshole." HAHAHAHAHA

Synths do not equal bad music. Badly used and cheesy synths equal bad music.

Really, consider doing a show for forum gossip and people you're fucking. It isn't entertainment to most people.
I'm actually curious about why you thought so...What sucked about it?
