I know that the digitzed era of music is bad, that mp3 are lossy and having a cd with artwork is better, but what a lot of artists arent getting is that there's people out there who buy the music but have no space for physical copies of cd's. I avtually buy more music than before, now that i have itunes. Of course there's always the weirdo fanatical friends that only buys collector edition digipacks and says i'm a cheapskate but i live in a small rathole, he doesnt.
Oh, I assumed that's just the Apple Studios/Apple computers thing.

They're not the only ones though. There's this whole anti-itunes movement which looks insane to me.

Anti-itunes or anti-mp3? Because I understand the former but not the latter.

Both. There's a bunch of muscians (usually mainstream ones who can afford to choose) who are against putting their albums in digital forms because "That's not how they're supposed to be heard". Angus Young said that in an interview recently. Kid Rock is not really into that either, if i recall correctly.

Lars from Metallica has showed to be more savvy (as always) and agrees to paid digital downloads.

A bizarre line of thought, since their CDs will be ripped by people who buy them and downloaded by people who don't want to buy a CD.
