The Clap

The only clap in a movie I remember was in Wedding Crashers right after Vince Vaughn decked that asshole boyfriend. I guess that's an indication of how well the director made that character. Everyone hated him enough to clap as he got a knuckle sandwich.

I think Grindhouse and the 4th Harry Potter movie are the only times I've been with an audience that was just really up for the movie and in the moment. Both times, we clapped, and it was more about the experience and (dare I say this hippieness) oneness we felt.

Can't say I've ever experienced clapping in a cinema. But I hope to at some point, so when it goes quiet I can "BOOOO". For shits and giggles.

Agreed. "On a similar topic, Keith, have you ever faked an orgasm?"

So cool.

BTW, Max Hardcore is basically the king of ultra-extreme porn. He gets famous stars and does horrendously rough stuff to them (Extreme choking, painful butt sex, hard slapping, verbal and physical humiliation). There's even worse guys around (Rob Black). I guess some people get turned on by seeing women trated like punchin' bags (and not, absoultely NOT, in a pleasant way). His trials are famous because he's playing the "larry flynt of the new millenium" and making a fuzz about it. But really most of the porn industry is an abuse, drug, disease infested shithole.

Haven't ever clapped at a movie but me and a friend tried to get the last clap at a play before. It lasted a while but I got it.

Faceboy mentioned me tee hee

And never, ever ever read your partner's journal. I read something about me from when we were first dating in Dr. BF's short-lived college journal with his permission, out loud, in front of his face, and I'll never forgive him for writing it. I should have never read it in the first place. Bad Bad decision.

Why the fuck do you want a journal? It's like being the super villain in a movie, and you have a cathartic need to explain your whole plan to James Bond before you kill him. Every Bond villain kept a diary, any of those wind up ahead in the end?

What good ever came of journals/diaries? Is David Letterman happy about it? You want to risk losing the trust of loved ones? You want to risk the love of someone close? You want to risk future incarceration or institutionalization? Is your ego's need to gossip to yourself so important that you are willing to risk everything and everyone else in your life?

The only possible reason I can imagine for keeping a journal is if you had some need to establish an elaborate alibi. And at that point, it is a work of fiction.

You should NEVER love anything that can't love you back. Everyone do yourself a favor and go throw away your journal, right now. If this isn't easy to do, you are broken on the inside. And a diary won't save you.

If you intend to invade Poland, however, please disregard this and keep a detailed journal for history. Or if you are a Jew hiding in the attic from some guy invading Poland.

People did clap when I went to the premire of The Dark Knight and Inglorious Basterds.

And isn't Max Harcore also a FTM Transgendered male, or am I thinking of someone else?

Faceboy's swear monologue was fucking hilarious, by the way.

A possible alert noise for the live shows on the app--Keith's impersonation of the Vista noise, "Ba-da DAAA-DAAA!"
