I think maybe they had Keith hold the camera so he wouldn't be in the video.

This is precisely the issue hospitals here have. Everything is so sanitized, but since you can only get rid of 99% of bacteria, that 1% that are immune grow.

I don't know why it is so hard for Purell to keep product on the shelves, the active ingrediant is just alcohol. Sanitizers are for the paranoid definately.

Keet's not alone

It looks like lots of other folks are also calling out DirecTV on the Spade-Farley ad.

I was at the match game and Becky was fucking horrible. However, she became progressively easier to deal with once the entire panel started hating her. The best moment was when the guy from project runway held up a sign saying shut her up.

Ben was really awesome though.

Not that much trouble. They still air it. Or were, before the Farley one started. Obviously not as many people knew nor cared about that one. I guess they felt they had to step it up if they wanted the attention they were after.

Can't wait for the Michael Massey DirecTV commercial from The Crow.

It looks like the media reached out to Chris Farley's family and David to get their feedback on this. They were all on board. If Farley's family was supportive of it then I don't see what the problem is.

A spokesperson for Direct TV told us, "We should look to Chris' family and friends for the ultimate opinion on this subject. They were involved from the beginning of this project and felt that the spot was a great to tribute to Chris."
