Do you think there is something inherently shameful about being a minority? You must be getting a great education...

What you want or don't want doesn't mean something is true.

And yes I know that Wiki is not the final truth but unless you quote something better I'll run with it:

Minority group - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
A minority is a sociological group that does not constitute a politically dominant voting majority of the total population of a given society. A sociological minority is not necessarily a numerical minority — it may include any group that is subnormal with respect to a dominant group in terms of social status, education, employment, wealth and political power. To avoid confusion, some writers prefer the terms "subordinate group" and "dominant group" rather than "minority" and "majority", respectively.
In socioeconomics, the term "minority" typically refers to a socially subordination ethnic group (understood in terms of language, nationality, religion and/or culture). Other minority groups include people with disabilities, "economic minorities" (working poor or unemployed), "age minorities" (who are younger or older than a typical working age) and sexual minorities.

Are you trying to imply that the education takes place in Kentucky maybe?

Cady why is is that the sociological semantics of identity concern you so much more and you're able to gloss over the egregious actions of the Mormon Church. Please speak on that issue. I'd love to hear you defend it.

Sorry, I'm like, 3 weeks behind on shows, and although I'm an avid listener (3 years now!), I don't post on the forums.

Anyway, I'm a former mormon, and really wish I had been listening to this show live. I would love to talk magic underwear (aka, jesus jammies), and other weird LDS beliefs. And since I'm no longer a member, I'd be happy to talk the dirty details (also found through a quick google search).

There are GAGGLES of former LDS members online... the main congregating place is Recovery from Mormonism - the Mormon Church. Click the bulletin boards to read personal experiences.

It's a fucked up, HARMFUL corporation/cult masquerading as a "religion."

Srsly... I could talk for HOURS about it.
