Keith, when you say that verbal threats should be punishable by law, does that mean you've changed your position on laws to combat "emotional violence"?

What would you say is the difference between verbal threats (airport-twitter) and verbal violence (between French spouses)?
In terms of effect on people?

The way I see it, twittering a threat to blow up an airport is the modern equivalent of shouting fire in a crowded theater. I'm glad he got detained. In this day in age, an adult should know better.

Except instead of a crowd of people in a theater, its a room of your friends. And the people panicking are not the people in the theater, but someone walking by the room.
