Can I just say that I am madly in love with Pat Dixon... by far my favorite guest - I look forward to every show that he is on. I wanted to be jealous of his girlfriend too but she was way too cool and super funny. Definitely hope she comes back on the show again. Awesome show.

Just wanted to comment on the old guy who supposedly hit the kid. This happened not far from where I live so of course has been on the news a lot longer here than it has nationally. On one news site I read a comment which was posted by someone who knew the guy and they said that he didn't actually slap the kid, he put his finger on her lips and said "Shh!" and the mother flipped out and started screaming that he had hit the kid because the kids face was red. The kids face was already red from the crying which started the whole episode. It seems like this got a little blown up. I'm not saying it was ok for him to touch the kid at all, I would have flipped out if I'd been the mom too. BUT, that's still different from repeatedly slapping. Also another detail, that the kid was 4, not 2. Not that it makes a difference, but it wasn't really a BABY baby.. Anyway, just a point.

It IS completely diffefrent from slapping.

I get that nobody touches my kid or he/she gets their neck snapped, but the two stories are still two different beasts.
